
Shatterproof Walk Returns to D.C. to Tackle Persistent Addiction Crisis
Despite a 31% drop in overdose deaths, Washington, D.C. continues to grapple with one of the nation's highest rates of substance use disorder. On October 17, hundreds will gather at The Wharf for the 8th Annual Shatterproof Walk to End Addiction, demanding better access to care and an end to public stigma.
