The Corsair platform distinguishes itself by integrating compute directly into memory. This design addresses the latency and power constraints inherent in traditional hardware architectures, allowing for more energy-efficient AI operations at scale. By reducing the physical distance data must travel, the platform seeks to lower the overall cost and time required for high-intensity inference tasks.
d-Matrix Corsair Platform Named to Fast Company's Tech List
Santa Clara-based d-Matrix has earned a spot on Fast Company’s 2026 Next Big Things in Tech list, with its Corsair inference platform recognized for its memory-centric architecture. The system, currently shipping to priority customers, aims to solve the industry-wide bottleneck of data movement between memory and compute processors.

Founder and CEO Sid Sheth noted that the recognition validates the company’s strategic focus on solving data-movement friction. As hyperscalers and frontier labs begin deploying the technology, the focus shifts from theoretical promise to practical, large-scale implementation. Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan highlighted that this year’s honorees were selected specifically for their ability to move beyond experimental concepts to deliver tangible, industry-altering impact.
