
CHOP and Carnegie Mellon Secure $39 Million for Fetal Monitoring Tech
A consortium led by Carnegie Mellon University and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has received a $39.3 million grant from ARPA-H to overhaul labor monitoring. The four-year initiative aims to replace outdated heart rate sensors with wearable technology capable of detecting fetal hypoxia in real-time.
