Starting June 29, 2026, consumers enrolled in flexible spending and health savings accounts can use their pre-tax funds to purchase Audien’s hearing technology via FSA Store and HSA Store. This move targets the primary barriers to hearing health—affordability and convenience—by streamlining the path from diagnosis to device acquisition. Keri Kaiser, chief revenue officer at Health-E Commerce, noted that the collaboration addresses the inconvenience of traditional clinical fittings by placing proven telehealth support into a consumer-friendly digital environment.
Health-E Commerce Partners with Audien to Simplify Hearing Aid Access
Nearly 30 million Americans currently face hearing loss, yet many avoid treatment due to high costs and complex fitting processes. A new partnership between Health-E Commerce and Audien Hearing aims to bridge this gap by offering FDA-regulated, over-the-counter devices directly through FSA and HSA online marketplaces.
Audien Hearing, which began as a small-scale startup in an Arizona garage, now serves over one million users. Their devices are specifically engineered for mild to moderate hearing loss, focusing on discreet design and simplified usage. Co-founder Ishan Patel stated that the integration with the Health-E Commerce platform allows users to bypass traditional healthcare hurdles, providing advanced technology while maximizing the utility of tax-advantaged savings accounts.
