Owner Fred Rosenfeld, who took over the family-run business started by his father, Len Rosenfeld, will see his team of technicians transition into the Pye-Barker network. This shift allows the New Jersey firm to offer its existing client base expanded fire protection services while maintaining local service continuity.
Pye-Barker Expands New Jersey Security Footprint With Union AlarmTronic
Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Springfield-based Union AlarmTronic, LLC, a move aimed at bolstering the Atlanta-based company’s security infrastructure in the Northeast. The deal integrates a firm with nearly four decades of local experience into the nation's largest provider of fire protection and life safety services.
Bart Proctor, CEO of Pye-Barker, cited the regional expertise and customer-focused culture of the Springfield team as primary drivers for the acquisition. The transaction was facilitated by Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP, which represented Pye-Barker, while Mesirow Investment Banking served as the exclusive advisor to Union AlarmTronic. Pye-Barker currently operates over 250 locations nationwide, continuing a rapid expansion strategy that ranks the company third on the SDM 100 list.
