The lawsuit, titled Holtzman v. Beta Bionics, Inc., is currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. It alleges that the company violated federal securities laws by suppressing information about life-threatening hypoglycemia risks linked to its automated insulin algorithm. According to the complaint, the FDA issued a Form 483 in June 2025 citing over 18,000 unreported complaints from users, contradicting the firm's public claims of superior clinical outcomes.
Beta Bionics Faces Securities Class Action Over iLet Device Claims
Investors have until November 3, 2026, to join a class action lawsuit against Beta Bionics, Inc., following allegations that the company misled shareholders regarding the safety and performance of its iLet insulin delivery system. The litigation follows a 37% stock price collapse earlier this year.

The company’s market valuation suffered two major shocks in 2026. On January 8, shares plummeted 37%—dropping from $31.99 to $20.14—after the company reported missing growth targets for new patient starts. A second decline occurred in late February following the public release of an FDA warning letter that detailed the company's failure to report device malfunctions. Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP is representing the plaintiffs, and shareholders seeking to be appointed lead plaintiff must act by the November deadline.
