Hovione Doubles U.S. Spray Drying Capacity With New New Jersey Facility
Hovione has officially opened a 31,000-square-foot facility at its East Windsor campus, marking the conclusion of a $100 million investment cycle. The new site, dubbed 89 Twin Rivers, adds two commercial-scale spray dryers to the company's arsenal, effectively doubling its domestic production capacity for amorphous solid dispersions.
This project adds approximately 80 new jobs to the East Windsor site and serves as a precursor to a larger development plan. Over the next decade, Hovione intends to transform the campus into a 125,000-square-foot hub, potentially incorporating additional laboratories and manufacturing suites on 15 acres of adjacent land. This strategy aligns with the firm’s global push to establish a network of harmonized manufacturing sites across North America, Europe, and Asia, ensuring supply chain resilience for the 19 of the world's 20 largest pharmaceutical companies currently partnering with the organization.
