West Physics Expands Northeast Footprint with RTS Acquisition
Atlanta-based West Physics Consulting has acquired Albany-based Radiographic Testing Services, a move designed to bolster the firm’s medical physics and radiation safety operations across the Northeast. The deal integrates the regional expertise of the New York provider into the national infrastructure of West Physics.
Dr. Geoffrey West, president and CEO of West Physics, noted that the integration allows the company to manage New York State operations more efficiently. While West Physics currently supports over 6,000 client sites across the U.S. and abroad, this expansion specifically targets the strengthening of local regulatory compliance support. The combined organization intends to leverage these shared resources to maintain accreditation standards for hospitals and imaging centers throughout the region.
