Student spending accounted for $35.7 million of the total impact, funneling capital into local housing, transportation, and dining sectors. Dr. Ingrid Thompson-Sellers, president of the college, described the campus as a social mobility engine and a vital economic anchor for the Capitol View neighborhood. As an open-access institution, the college provides credentials for first-generation students and working adults, directly supplying the Atlanta workforce with trained talent.
