The expansion moves beyond traditional social media monitoring to include platforms like Spotify, Pandora, SoundCloud, and YouTube. By linking these ad exposures to a verified panel of opted-in consumers, the company enables brands to trace a direct line from a specific digital encounter to subsequent actions such as web activity, app usage, or physical store visits. CEO Chris St. Hilaire noted that while advertising has migrated into diverse digital environments, measurement tools have largely struggled to keep pace with this fragmentation.
MFour Extends Ad Tracking to ChatGPT and Streaming Media
Irvine-based MFour Data Research is pushing its tracking technology into the AI era, announcing that its OmniTraffic platform now captures ad exposure within ChatGPT, alongside major audio and video streaming services. The update aims to bridge the gap between fragmented digital impressions and actual consumer behavior.

Unlike systems that rely on modeled estimates, this data feed tracks real exposure from a panel of 60,000 consumers. The company reports capturing 63 million ad exposures over the last 30 days, providing granular metadata including creative types and interaction duration. This deterministic approach allows researchers to observe how AI interactions or streaming ads influence the complete consumer journey rather than relying on isolated metrics.
