The fund operates through the Tokenization Foundation, a new vehicle that integrates cash management with social impact. Beyond the revenue pledge, the model utilizes TF Tokenized Coins to incentivize participation. Investors, aid workers, and a ten-member council share an allocation of these coins, with the latter group acting as super validators responsible for infrastructure governance and real-time monitoring.
Aegis Trust Launches Tokenized Fund to Automate Humanitarian Relief
By pledging 10% of gross revenue to disaster response, Aegis Trust is debuting a tokenized money market fund designed to bypass traditional bureaucratic delays. The South Dakota-based custodian aims to replace opaque grant cycles with a blockchain-based infrastructure that ensures aid reaches crisis zones with immediate, traceable transparency.

Serra Wei, cofounder of Aegis Trust, argues that current humanitarian funding is often trapped in administrative overhead. By moving these assets on-chain, the foundation intends to provide instant, secure capital transfers at scale. The Digital Chamber has joined as a founding council member, viewing the initiative as a step toward a more inclusive financial ecosystem. To bolster its governance, Aegis Trust has appointed former banking executive Steve Andrews to its board, where he will oversee risk management alongside existing directors Lynne Marlor, Dave Timpe, and Todd Bernard.
