Her extensive portfolio of community involvement spans organizations such as Books For Africa, the Jeremiah Program, and the Urban League Twin Cities.
CaringBridge Appoints Tammie Follett as Director of Advancement
Tammie Follett, a veteran in nonprofit leadership and fundraising, has joined the Bloomington-based health platform CaringBridge. As the new Director of Advancement, she will oversee the organization's strategic partnerships and philanthropic initiatives, aiming to bolster the support network for families managing complex health journeys.
Stephanie Schmid, CEO of CaringBridge, noted that Follett’s background in relationship-building is a natural fit for the platform’s mission. In this role, Follett will focus on expanding major gifts and corporate partnerships to sustain the organization's free digital services. CaringBridge, founded in 1997, currently facilitates more than 13 million interactions annually, serving as a vital communication hub for families navigating medical crises.
