Freddy’s Launches Bacon Fest Menu With Four New Limited-Time Items

Starting Wednesday, Sept. 2, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will transform its menu into a bacon-centric showcase. The fast-casual chain is rolling out four distinct items across its nationwide locations, keeping the smoky, indulgent theme running through Nov. 3 as part of its annual Bacon Fest promotion.

The expansion centers on the return of the Smoky Bacon Cheddar Stack, which features two hand-pressed patties, sharp cheddar, four slices of Applewood bacon, and grilled onions on a King’s Hawaiian bun. The lineup also introduces the Smoky Bacon Steakburger Taco, a grilled flour tortilla filled with a steakburger patty and bacon, alongside Bacon Loaded Tots smothered in cheese sauce and crumbled bacon. For a dessert-focused twist, the Maple Pecan Concrete blends vanilla custard with maple syrup and pecans, offering guests an optional bacon garnish to bridge the gap between sweet and savory.

Rick Petralia, executive chef and vice president of training and innovation, noted that the menu serves as a way to innovate while highlighting a recurring favorite flavor profile. The Wichita-based franchise currently operates over 580 locations, maintaining its focus on fresh, cooked-to-order preparation. Customers can access these items through drive-thru, in-restaurant dining, or via the brand's mobile app through the start of November.
