Milwaukee-based utility giant WEC Energy Group has unveiled its 2025 Corporate Responsibility Report, detailing a massive $37.5 billion capital investment plan through 2030. The strategy aims to bolster Midwest energy infrastructure while balancing growing customer demand with long-term carbon neutrality goals and grid reliability.

Operational performance remains a core pillar of the report, with the company noting a 53% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from electric generation since 2005. Beyond infrastructure, WEC Energy Group reported $24 million in combined charitable contributions and low-income assistance programs for the year. Recent industry recognition, such as the ReliabilityOne award for the Upper Midwest, underscores the company's current focus on maintaining service stability as it integrates a more complex mix of renewable and traditional energy assets.
