Founded in 2016, the Shanghai-based company has established itself as a critical supplier for electric vehicle manufacturers. According to China Insights Consultancy, NASN was the first Chinese firm to commercialize electronic brake booster solutions specifically for Level 4 autonomous vehicles. By 2025, the company ranked among the top three Chinese brake-by-wire providers, securing a position as the second-largest independent supplier in the sector.
NASN Intelligent Tech Debuts on Hong Kong Exchange
Shares of Chinese X-by-wire chassis specialist NASN Intelligent Tech surged on their Hong Kong Stock Exchange debut August 7, 2026. Opening at HK$16.9 against an issue price of HK$10.42, the firm reached a market capitalization of HK$10.06 billion, signaling strong investor appetite for domestic autonomous driving hardware.

Qiming Venture Partners, which led the firm’s Series A financing in 2018, remains the largest institutional shareholder with an 8.43 percent stake. Tao Zhe, Founder and Chairman of NASN, noted that the listing marks a pivot toward global expansion and accelerated innovation in automotive motion control. Beyond the automotive sector, the company is leveraging its proprietary control algorithms and hardware expertise to enter adjacent fields, including humanoid robotics and low-altitude aircraft motion control systems.
