Mark Foods Absorbs Endeavor Seafood in Strategic Consolidation
New York-based Mark Foods has finalized the acquisition of Newport-based Endeavor Seafood, effectively folding the importer into its global operations. The deal follows a multi-year partnership that began in 2021, marking another expansion for the firm as it scales its presence in the premium seafood supply chain.

This move continues an aggressive growth trajectory for Mark Foods, which has integrated several entities since 2021, including Openwater Seafoods, Arista Industries’ seafood division, and Bristol Seafood. By centralizing these operations, the company aims to bolster its processing capacity, which currently exceeds 20 million pounds of seafood annually across facilities in Florida and Maine. CEO Barry Markman cited the long-standing alignment between the two teams as the primary driver for full integration, noting that the move secures deeper control over supply chain sustainability and product consistency for their retail and foodservice clients.
