Orvana Minerals Prepares to Restart Bolivia Operations Amid Q3 Gains

Logistics hurdles in Bolivia silenced production at Orvana Minerals’ Don Mario site during the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, leaving the company’s Spanish Orovalle asset to carry the load. With preparations now complete, the firm expects to resume processing oxide ore in the coming days.

Consolidated production for the quarter reached 10,833 gold equivalent ounces, a figure driven entirely by the Orovalle operation. While the Spanish mine saw gold production rise 14% to 9,656 ounces compared to the previous quarter, copper output dipped 17% due to lower ore grades and recovery rates. Orvana remains confident that Orovalle will meet its annual production targets as the facility maintains steady throughput.

The Don Mario operation in Bolivia sat idle throughout the quarter as supply chain disruptions delayed the Oxides Stockpile Project. Chief Executive Officer Juan Gavidia described the current phase as a pivotal transition, noting that the final processing circuits are now operational. Management plans to issue revised guidance for the Bolivian assets when financial results are released in mid-August.
