The new service is designed to mitigate risks where traditional SaaS platforms fall short. While these services ensure uptime, they do not guarantee the restoration of deleted or corrupted data. By utilizing Veeam Data Cloud as a Veeam Gold Service Provider, ValorC3 creates immutable backups that remain resistant to ransomware and accidental deletion. The company manages the entire lifecycle of the data, including job configuration, active monitoring, and periodic recovery testing.
ValorC3 Launches Managed Backup Service to Secure SaaS Environments
Eighty percent of organizations have faced cloud security incidents, yet many mistakenly rely on SaaS vendors for data recovery. To bridge this gap, Boise-based ValorC3 Data Centers today launched a managed Backup as a Service (BaaS) platform, providing immutable protection for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Salesforce environments.

Justin Fox, Senior Vice President of Product and Operations, noted that the solution shifts the burden of data protection away from the client. By configuring and verifying every recovery point, the firm aims to prevent the millions of dollars in potential losses associated with data breaches or extended system outages. The service is now available for both cloud-native workloads and on-premises infrastructure, with 14-day retention periods included by default for existing Valor Cloud instance-based plans.
