The rebranding effort features a simplified name, shortening from NuHarbor Security to nuHarbor, alongside a new visual identity and website. According to Vice President of Marketing Alyssa Fox, the update aligns the firm’s aesthetic with its current capabilities and long-term trajectory. Beyond the logo and messaging, the company aims to emphasize its practitioner-led approach, which focuses on delivering continuous security operations and strategic consulting for public sector clients.
nuHarbor Rebrands as National Cybersecurity Player
Transitioning from a regional firm to a national security provider, Colchester-based nuHarbor has unveiled a refreshed brand identity. The move comes as the company scales its operations to support over 500 organizations, currently safeguarding roughly one-third of the U.S. population through its extensive work with state and local government agencies.

Founder and CEO Justin Fimlaid noted that the shift reflects the company’s maturation over recent years. While the visual presence has been modernized, Fimlaid maintains that the core mission remains anchored in risk reduction and strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure. By streamlining its name and digital footprint, the firm intends to better communicate its role as a partner for organizations managing complex security environments.
