FyterTech Nonwovens Acquires Canadian Distributor SpilKleen
Wisconsin-based fluid management firm FyterTech Nonwovens has acquired Ontario-based SpilKleen, a strategic move designed to bolster the company’s regional footprint. The transaction, completed through FyterTech’s Canadian subsidiary, aims to streamline product distribution and enhance technical support for industrial clients across the Canadian market.

Chris Knowles, formerly of SpilKleen, has joined the FyterTech Canada team to oversee business development, with a stated focus on expanding the firm’s reach across the country. Eymbert Vaandering, Managing Director of FyterTech Canada, noted that the current priority is the operational transition and the consolidation of staff to serve the local environmental safety market more efficiently. FyterTech, headquartered in De Pere, Wisconsin, continues to manage its global operations across six continents, with this latest expansion signaling a deeper investment in North American service channels.
