The Chairman’s Award evaluates properties on rigorous standards, specifically focusing on the "Intent to Recommend" metric. This figure tracks whether guests would personally advocate for the hotel, serving as a primary indicator of both service quality and guest loyalty. LBA Hospitality Chief Operating Officer Farrah Adams noted that earning this confidence is a personal endorsement from travelers, reflecting the daily commitment of the hotel teams.
Two LBA-Managed Hotels Secure Marriott Chairman’s Award
The Renaissance St. Augustine Historic Downtown and the Delta Hotels by Marriott Ashland Downtown have earned the Marriott Chairman’s Award, a distinction reserved for a single top-performing property per brand. This dual recognition marks a rare milestone for their management company, LBA Hospitality, highlighting consistent operational excellence.
Leadership at both properties played a critical role in securing the honors. Meredith Klindtworth, general manager of the St. Augustine property, previously earned the 2024 Marriott Mustang Award for her focus on innovation and brand character. Meanwhile, Jackie Hymel, who oversees the Ashland location, brings a track record that includes the 2022 Delta Brand General Manager of the Year title and a 2024 Hotel Hero Award. Their combined success reinforces the reputation of LBA Hospitality, which currently manages 45 Marriott-branded properties across its broader portfolio of 106 hotels.
