Michelin-Star Chef Hari Nayak Joins Woodinville’s Harvest Yard

Chef Hari Nayak is bringing a modern Indian concept to Woodinville this July, anchoring the final phase of the Harvest Yard development. His restaurant joins a diverse roster of Pacific Northwest purveyors, marking a significant culinary expansion for the project as it nears full occupancy ahead of its summer debut.

Nayak, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America known for his global Michelin-recognized concepts, plans to blend Indian culinary traditions with seasonal Pacific Northwest ingredients. The space is designed to emphasize communal dining, mirroring the social nature of Indian food culture. His arrival adds a high-profile name to a complex that already features a broad mix of hospitality and retail brands.

Beyond Nayak’s restaurant, the Yard is finalizing a major expansion of the region’s tasting room scene. Walla Walla Vintners, a veteran producer with over three decades of history, is opening its first satellite location at the site. Proprietor Scott Haladay cited the area's growing reputation as a primary driver for the expansion. The development, which sits adjacent to the Sammamish River Trail, is now nearly complete, complementing the existing SOMM Hotel & Spa and the nearby River Run residential community. With a full lineup of retailers ranging from artisanal candle makers to specialized boutiques, the project aims to serve as a comprehensive destination for both local residents and visitors.
