For many digital storefronts, the demand for high-frequency video content has outpaced the capabilities of traditional production. Hiring creators, managing physical samples, and navigating lengthy editing cycles often leave lean marketing teams unable to respond to shifting trends. Zawa addresses this by allowing users to upload a single product image, which the engine then maps onto structured, commerce-ready layouts such as unboxing, problem-solution narratives, or before-and-after comparisons.
Zawa Debuts AI Reel Maker to Automate Social Commerce Video Production
Los Angeles-based design platform Zawa has launched an AI-driven tool designed to convert static product photography into short-form marketing videos. By automating the production process for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, the software aims to help e-commerce teams bypass traditional studio bottlenecks and rapidly scale their creative content testing.

Unlike generic generative AI tools, the platform relies on specific e-commerce logic rather than open-ended text prompts. Users can supply additional lifestyle shots to refine the output or upload high-performing reference videos to mimic pacing and storytelling frameworks. This allows brands to generate multiple distinct creative angles from a single asset, testing various buyer motivations without the expense of a full production house. According to Zawa product lead Zoey, the goal is to provide a rapid testing engine that mitigates ad fatigue and declining conversion rates. Beyond video generation, the company maintains a suite of image enhancers and editing utilities intended to simplify brand building for SMB clients and independent sellers.
