VulcanForms Taps Relativity Space Veteran as CTO
Michael Kenworthy, a seasoned engineering executive formerly of Relativity Space, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at VulcanForms. He joins the Massachusetts-based manufacturer as the company scales its integrated production platform to meet rising domestic demand for high-performance components across the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors.

Kenworthy brings two decades of experience to the role, having previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Relativity Space. His career includes leadership tenures at Seurat Technologies, Divergent, GE Aviation, and Honeywell. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he joins the company at a pivot point where VulcanForms is attempting to shift from foundational technology development to broader commercial deployment. CEO Kevin Kassekert noted that Kenworthy’s background in scaling engineering organizations is essential for pushing the company's first-principles manufacturing model into high-volume production.
