L'OFFICIEL AMTD IDEA Plans 2026 Expansion into Taiwan and Singapore

L'OFFICIEL AMTD IDEA has confirmed plans to launch new editions in Taiwan and Singapore by 2026, marking a significant push to expand the brand's footprint across Asia. The move aims to solidify the publisher's influence in the Chinese-language media market while strengthening its global bridge between East and West.

The expansion includes the debut of L'OFFICIEL Taiwan and a new Chinese-language edition, L'OFFICIEL 时装 Singapore. This development makes Singapore the first market globally to host both English and Chinese editions of the publication simultaneously. Each edition will operate with independent editorial teams to better cater to their respective audiences; Ian Lee has been tapped to lead the English publication, while Grace Lee will head the Chinese edition.

This strategy follows recent investments in IP verticals such as L'OFFICIEL COFFEE and L'OFFICIEL BAR, which are designed to build a cohesive lifestyle ecosystem beyond traditional print. By adding these new titles to its existing portfolio in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong, the group aims to deepen engagement with the rapidly growing Chinese-speaking readership. The parent companies, including AMTD IDEA Group and The Generation Essentials Group, view this regional growth as a core component of their broader international strategy.
