Novali™ addresses the growing challenge of resistant weed pressure by providing a concentrated liquid formulation that eliminates the dust concerns typically associated with granular products. By integrating this high-load solution into existing weed management programs, growers can achieve longer-lasting residual control while simplifying their dosing processes. Germain Boulay, Head of Global Herbicides at ADAMA, noted that the product represents a strategic shift toward combining proven chemistry with advanced formulation platforms to meet evolving agronomic needs.
ADAMA Debuts High-Concentration Pyroxasulfone Herbicide
With 40% more active ingredient per gallon than standard liquid alternatives, ADAMA’s new Novali™ herbicide aims to streamline field logistics for soybean and corn producers. The product, which hit the market in June 2026, leverages proprietary Sesgama™ technology to reduce the physical burden of handling, transport, and frequent tank refills.

This launch marks a significant expansion of the company’s row crop portfolio in the United States. Following the initial commercial rollout, ADAMA intends to introduce additional formulations to further bolster its weed control offerings. The company maintains that the efficiency gains provided by Novali™ will allow producers to optimize their labor and storage resources while maintaining consistent performance against invasive species before they emerge.
