World Tennis Grants Gold Status to Kazakhstan's Coaching Program

The Kazakhstan Tennis Federation has secured Gold-level recognition from World Tennis for its coach education system, a designation that validates local certification standards against global benchmarks through 2030. This status empowers the federation to independently train and certify professionals capable of managing elite-level athletes and high-performance talent development programs.

The accreditation follows a rigorous audit of the federation’s training infrastructure by the World Tennis Coaches Commission. In a letter dated October 9, 2026, Executive Director Erik Poel confirmed the move, granting the organization authority to use official World Tennis branding on all educational materials and professional licenses.

Federation President Bulat Utemuratov highlighted the milestone as the culmination of long-term investment in domestic coaching expertise. Beyond the administrative endorsement, the status serves as a strategic pillar for the country's junior development pipeline, ensuring that rising Kazakhstani players receive instruction aligned with the highest international requirements.
