A unanimous vote from the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency has cleared the way for The Sanborn, an eight-story private club slated to debut in 2028. Located at 100 NE First Avenue, the project marks the city's first entry into the exclusive members-only social club market.
Membership will be restricted to an application and invitation process, targeting residents of Boca Raton and surrounding communities. Steven Newman, a founder of the project, describes the club’s ethos as "Intuitively yours," aiming for a personalized atmosphere where staff recognize members by name. Silver Street Hospitality, led by James Gersten, is curating the dining and beverage concepts, while local firm HDA Architects handled the building design. The structure adheres to existing downtown codes, utilizing an automated underground valet system to manage parking needs.
