Revizto 5.18 introduces private Draft Mode for iterative design reviews

Project teams often struggle to bridge the gap between informal whiteboard discussions and formal project records. With the launch of Revizto 5.18, the AECO collaboration platform introduces a private Draft Mode, allowing architects and engineers to refine 2D and 3D markups before committing them to the official project workflow.

The new Draft Mode functions as a local workspace where users can capture feedback, edit annotations, and iterate on designs without immediate public exposure. Once refined, these drafts can be converted into tracked issues or exported to PDF for external meetings, ensuring the project context remains intact throughout the decision-making process. This update aims to formalize the messy, non-linear reality of technical reviews where initial observations are frequently discarded or modified before reaching final project documentation.

Beyond drafting capabilities, the release addresses performance and data management. Models now load four times faster than in the previous version, a critical improvement for teams handling high-density infrastructure projects. Additionally, a new bulk CSV import and export feature for custom properties allows contractors to update installation statuses or work packages without modifying the original BIM source files. Complementing these technical upgrades, the software now features redesigned 2D navigation and improved markup portability, allowing users to move annotations between sheets and projects with greater efficiency. These tools are available immediately through the Revizto Workspace for existing subscribers.
