North Macedonia plans to anchor its presence at the exhibition with a pavilion titled "All Rhythms of the Sun," a showcase dedicated to the nation’s viticulture, gastronomy, and creative sectors. Danilo Jerinić, CEO of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, emphasized that the event is intended to function as a regional platform rather than a localized Serbian project, urging local firms to integrate their operations into the expo’s framework.
Belgrade Expo 2027 Targets Cross-Border Tourism and Trade Growth
With over 82,000 North Macedonian travelers visiting Serbia in the first half of 2026, a 22% increase, organizers are leveraging the upcoming EXPO 2027 Belgrade to solidify regional economic ties. The recent Visit Serbia networking event in Skopje served as a launchpad for these collaborative business and tourism initiatives.

The logistical backbone for these partnerships includes a digital B2B platform designed to facilitate matchmaking across the event’s six core forums. The exhibition schedule, spanning from May 15 to August 15, 2027, will host a Global Business and Technology Summit alongside 250 bilateral sessions. Organizers expect the 93-day window to draw four million visitors, creating a significant window for cross-border travel itineraries that link Serbian and North Macedonian destinations.
