At the VISION 2026 exhibition in Stuttgart, Raytron OEM demonstrated a suite of short-wave and long-wave infrared sensors designed to optimize industrial sorting and safety. The showcase centered on high-speed imaging hardware and thermal monitoring systems tailored for the rigorous demands of European manufacturing and automated quality control.
The company’s display featured the NS-615AS-10GE SWIR camera, which captures images at 825 frames per second. By utilizing a 10GigE interface and 640 × 512 resolution, the device is engineered for rapid semiconductor inspection and material sorting. Live demonstrations at the booth underscored these capabilities, with the cameras successfully distinguishing between food samples like sugar and salt based on moisture content and material composition.
Beyond high-speed imaging, Raytron introduced the SE5 1280 thermal module, which provides high-resolution imaging in a compact footprint. For manufacturers requiring precise thermal data, the WN2T Series offers non-contact temperature measurement with low power consumption. These components are intended for seamless integration into existing industrial monitoring equipment.
Fushuai Liu, Head of Europe & Americas at Raytron, expanded on these technologies during the Industrial VISION Days. He introduced a three-layer Thermal Vision framework designed to align with the EU Battery Regulation. By utilizing tools such as the TN460U ultra-high temperature camera, the framework enables continuous monitoring of battery production and die-casting molds. This approach focuses on early issue detection and long-term traceability, providing European firms with a structured method to enhance site safety and process quality.
