The brand’s expansion strategy is increasingly fueled by sophisticated partners who manage multiple restaurant concepts. Three new franchise groups joined the system this quarter, bringing substantial industry expertise. Further signaling confidence in the business model, one existing partner doubled their development commitment just three months after launching in a new state. These 11 new agreements will push the brand into fresh territories, including its inaugural entry into Kansas, contributing to a total development pipeline exceeding 200 locations nationwide.
Eggs Up Grill Secures 11 New Locations Amid Sustained Growth Streak
With 23 consecutive quarters of positive same-restaurant sales, Eggs Up Grill is accelerating its national expansion. The Spartanburg-based daytime restaurant brand finalized 11 new franchise commitments during the third quarter of 2026, drawing significant interest from experienced multi-unit operators looking to diversify their portfolios.

CEO Ricky Richardson attributes this momentum to the appeal of the breakfast, brunch, and lunch category among seasoned investors. Currently, more than 60% of franchise owners operate or develop multiple units. This growth trajectory was bolstered by third-quarter operational milestones, including a Franchisee of the Year award from the International Franchise Association for partner Ken Bates and a top-tier ranking on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list. With new restaurants recently opened in Georgia and South Carolina, the company enters the final months of 2026 with an established footprint of over 110 locations.
