The contract arrives just one year after the program’s initial trilateral launch, marking a rapid transition from the first site’s completion to the development of international infrastructure. Fisica secured the deal through a competitive bidding process, leveraging its performance record in Australia to minimize implementation risk for the upcoming deployment.
Fisica Secures Space Force Contract for DARC Radar Expansion
Following the successful deployment of the inaugural Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability site in Australia, San Leandro-based Fisica has been tapped by the U.S. Space Force to spearhead the next phase of the global sensor network, now moving into the United Kingdom.

Under this agreement, the company will oversee the design, assembly, and installation of sophisticated radar antenna systems. Mark Rayner, President of Fisica, noted that the selection serves as validation of the firm’s ability to execute complex, large-scale programs. The project remains a cornerstone of the U.S. and allied effort to enhance space domain awareness and maintain security in an increasingly crowded orbital environment.
