Freshworks Poised for S&P SmallCap 600 Entry

Freshworks Inc. is set to join the S&P SmallCap 600 index on October 8, 2026, marking a shift in the benchmark’s composition. The software firm will take the place of BioLife Solutions Inc., which is currently being acquired by Repligen Corp. in a deal nearing its final completion.

The transition will occur prior to the opening of trading on Thursday, October 8. Repligen Corp., a constituent of the S&P MidCap 400, is finalizing its acquisition of BioLife Solutions, triggering the deletion of the health care company from the SmallCap 600 roster. Freshworks, listed under the ticker FRSH, will transition into the Information Technology sector slot within the index. This adjustment remains subject to the final closing conditions of the ongoing acquisition.
