Vertiv Appoints Michael Resha to Oversee Global Manufacturing

Resha joins the Columbus-based firm after a tenure at Stellantis, where he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Injection and Stamping. His background includes leadership positions at major automotive manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Kia Motors. At Vertiv, he is tasked with scaling global operations and expanding capacity to meet the needs of the critical digital infrastructure market. A primary focus of his mandate will be the further deployment and adoption of the Vertiv Operating System.

He succeeds Anders Karlborg, who transitions to a new role as Special Operations Projects Leader. Karlborg will remain at the company to support an orderly leadership handover. CEO Giordano Albertazzi noted that Karlborg’s contributions were vital during a period of rapid organizational growth, and he expects Resha’s experience with multinational manufacturing networks to be instrumental as the company optimizes its supply chain and operational execution.
