As middle-market firms increasingly look beyond traditional bank lending for flexible capital, Cohen & Company Capital Markets has launched a dedicated private credit advisory practice. The new division aims to assist companies with complex financing needs, including growth initiatives, acquisitions, and debt recapitalizations.
Jerry Serowik, Head of Cohen & Company Capital Markets, noted that the move strengthens the firm’s ability to provide tailored debt financing alongside its existing M&A and capital-raising services. The addition of this team allows the boutique investment bank to offer specialized expertise in underwriting and debt structuring, ensuring clients can navigate evolving capital alternatives with greater precision.
