The Fleet360 program integrates real-time digital monitoring, technical training, and parts supply to reduce uncertainty in fuel cell operations. Central to this offering is the FCpulse digital platform, which provides maintenance teams with health dashboards and diagnostic tools to proactively identify modules requiring service. By prioritizing repairs based on data-driven insights rather than reactive failure, operators can streamline their workshop resources and long-term budget planning.
Ballard Launches Lifecycle Service Program for North American Bus Fleets
At the APTA TRANSform & EXPO 2026 in Chicago, Ballard Power Systems unveiled Fleet360, a comprehensive support program designed to manage the lifecycle of its FCmove-HD+ fuel cell modules. The initiative aims to provide transit operators with predictable maintenance costs and guaranteed performance metrics for their zero-emission bus fleets.

Ballard is backing the technology with defined service packages, including the FCcare+ option, which guarantees power output for up to 250,000 miles of operation. Support is centralized through the company’s Remote Operations Centre in Vancouver, with localized parts inventory stationed in Bend, Oregon. This infrastructure builds upon Ballard’s existing footprint, which currently includes nearly 330 fuel cell buses in North America. These new service standards follow the company’s recent acquisition of GeoPura, further expanding its ability to deliver integrated hydrogen energy solutions from production to end-of-life refurbishment.
