Charles Heidsieck Marks 175 Years With Rare Century-Spanning Cuvée
A blend of 37 wines spanning ten decades, The Soul of Charles serves as a liquid retrospective of the House’s 175-year history. This singular release, pulling from vintages as far back as 1937, functions as a testament to the patient, multi-generational craftsmanship that defines the Reims-based estate.
Production is strictly limited to 175 Jeroboam-sized units. Each 3-liter bottle will be available through select merchants this autumn at a retail price of $2,000. For the House, this release represents the culmination of its long-standing practice of extended aging within its two-thousand-year-old chalk cellars, solidifying a legacy that began in 1851.
