The new appointments arrive as Tennr seeks to capitalize on its $162 million in venture funding from backers including Andreessen Horowitz and IVP. CEO Trey Holterman described the recruitment of the trio as a strategic move to address systemic bottlenecks in the patient journey, noting that the group previously collaborated at high-velocity technology firms. Capaldi, who previously led go-to-market strategies at Altana and Zip, now oversees the company’s revenue engine. He is tasked with scaling operations to address the friction health systems face when managing referrals and patient transitions. Dean Sutherland, joining as VP of Sales Transformation, will focus on internal enablement and building consistent sales processes, while Matt Stephens takes on the role of SVP of Customer Experience and Value Engineering. Stephens brings a background in data and analytics from his tenure at Celonis and Qlik, aiming to align the company's technical output with clinical outcomes. This leadership expansion follows the earlier addition of former Google and Cleveland Clinic executive Dr. William H. Morris as Chief Medical Officer, signaling Tennr's intent to bridge the gap between enterprise software and clinical utility.
