A2Gold Hits 141.1 g/t Gold at Nevada’s Castle Target
A2Gold Corp. has intercepted 141.10 grams per tonne of gold over 0.9 metres at its Castle Target in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The result, pulled from a depth of roughly 53 metres, marks the highest-grade assay recorded to date at the company’s Eastside project and signals a shift in its exploration strategy.
Beyond the headline intercept in hole CAC-007, hole CAC-006 returned multiple high-grade intervals, including 9.72 g/t gold over 0.6 metres. These findings are complemented by evidence of significant silver mineralization, such as 13.3 g/t over 19.5 metres in CAC-006, which were not fully characterized by historical drilling. The company plans to use these data to guide infill and step-out drilling, focusing on the 400-metre corridor between the new high-grade intercept and surface channel samples at Black Rock.
