Dialog Café Finds Temporary Home at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood

Following a devastating water main break that shuttered their neighborhood staple, brothers Narbeh and Tadeh Ghazalian are moving their entire operation to The Sun Rose. Starting October 3, 2026, the local favorite will transplant its full menu and staff to the Sunset Strip hotel while the original site undergoes long-term repairs.

The residency offers a lifeline for a business that has served the West Hollywood community for nearly 18 years. Guests will find the full selection of signature items, including the cult-favorite breakfast burrito and Madagascar Vanilla Latte, along with room service options for hotel visitors. The transition brings the café's familiar team to the property, maintaining the consistency that defined its original location.

Restoration of the damaged original café is expected to take at least one year. In the interim, the new space on Sunset Boulevard will operate daily from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. General Manager Kris Umstattd noted that the partnership aligns with the hotel’s recent expansion of its culinary program, which already includes new rooftop concepts like Yuhi and Oleander. Executive Chef Gino Pineda will continue to oversee the menu, ensuring the transition preserves the quality ingredients and chef-driven preparation that built the café’s local reputation.
