New Off-Road Lighting System Aims to Reduce Nighttime Collisions

A trio of inventors from La Grange, Georgia, has developed K 3 J LIGHTS, a specialized illumination system designed to improve the visibility of off-road vehicles during nighttime operation. The design seeks to mitigate accident risks by ensuring operators remain recognizable to others in low-light environments.

The system utilizes a weatherproof construction engineered for straightforward installation across a diverse range of platforms, including UTVs, ATVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft. Beyond functional safety, the inventors emphasize that the unit provides an aesthetic upgrade for dune buggies and off-road SUVs.

InventHelp, a submission service based in Pittsburgh, is currently representing the design to potential manufacturers and marketers for licensing or direct sale. Technical drawings and a working prototype are available for industry review through the company’s national sales office.
