The facility renovation centers on the installation of a Class 100 cleanroom environment, supported by an ISO 8 utility chase and dedicated mechanical infrastructure. C1S Group will oversee the entire lifecycle of the build, incorporating raised access flooring and modular wall systems to meet rigorous contamination control standards. Environmental stability will be maintained through HEPA-filtered HVAC systems, with precise temperature and humidity regulation essential for sensitive defense manufacturing.
C1S Group Secures Contract for Defense-Grade Cleanroom Facility
Dallas-based C1S Group has secured a design-build contract to construct a 5,000-square-foot ISO 5 cleanroom for a major defense technology provider. The project focuses on retrofitting an existing site into a specialized manufacturing hub, marking another milestone in the firm's expanding portfolio of high-stakes infrastructure work.

Beyond the primary cleanroom, the project requires an extensive utility network. This includes the integration of specialty gases, nitrogen, vacuum systems, and chilled water lines. The firm must also implement advanced chemical storage and specialized exhaust systems to ensure the safe handling of hazardous materials. Chad Holt, Chief Operating Officer at C1S Group, noted that the integrated design-build approach facilitates early technical problem-solving and establishes a single point of accountability for the client. With this latest award, the company has surpassed $15 million in defense-related contracts over the last five years, cementing its role in supporting national defense production capabilities.
