Genesis Directs $65,000 Toward Coastal Georgia Youth Programs

The funding supports a diverse range of regional nonprofits: First Tee Savannah, the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club, Girls on the Run South Georgia, Savannah United, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Each organization receives backing to enhance existing mentorship, athletic, and academic pathways. For instance, the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club will use the contribution to broaden its STEAM offerings, while SCAD will apply the funds toward student scholarships.

Beyond direct financial support, the automaker facilitated a hands-on workshop at Ebenezer Middle School in collaboration with the Child Creativity Lab. Students engaged with vehicle design concepts and automotive innovation, utilizing upcycled materials to build their own mobility prototypes. Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility for Genesis Motor America, noted that these programs are designed to instill long-term critical thinking and life skills in the next generation of innovators. This effort adds to the more than $3 million Genesis has distributed nationwide through its philanthropic arm since 2022.
