Lippert Taps ketteQ to Overhaul Supply Chain Planning with AI

Lippert, a global manufacturer of engineered components for the RV and automotive sectors, has selected ketteQ as its new supply chain planning platform. The move marks a shift toward AI-native architecture, aiming to replace legacy enterprise systems with autonomous agents capable of unscripted reasoning and real-time decision support.

After nine years of relying on a heavily customized incumbent system, Lippert launched an evaluation to find a platform capable of evolving with its complex manufacturing requirements. The selection process involved rigorous technical validation, with ketteQ meeting every requirement during two structured demonstrations. The decision ultimately hinged on a live session where Quintus, ketteQ’s AI agent, successfully navigated an unprepared, complex planning scenario, proving its ability to provide autonomous decision support rather than just data processing.

For Lippert, the transition is intended to reduce the reliance on bespoke system modifications. By integrating the PolymatiQ solver, the company plans to automate high-volume purchasing and planning tasks, allowing staff to shift focus toward high-level strategy. Scott Meiner, Lippert’s Chief Supply Chain Officer, noted that the upgrade is designed to build a faster, more responsive foundation for the business. Implementation will be managed alongside the technology firm Trillium, positioning Lippert as an early adopter of agentic AI within the industrial components market.
