Hanshow, shopreme, and Lucky cart Launch AI-Powered Smart Cart

Hanshow, shopreme, and Lucky cart have unveiled a collaborative smart cart solution designed to bridge the divide between physical retail and e-commerce. By integrating AI-driven navigation, self-checkout, and retail media into a single hardware platform, the companies aim to transform the standard shopping cart into an intelligent in-store touchpoint.

The new system consolidates fragmented retail technologies—including loss prevention, proximity-based promotions, and personalized product recommendations—into one interface. Philippe Brochard, Chairman of the Advisory Board at Hanshow, noted that the platform enables retailers to maintain the unique value of physical stores while introducing the precision of digital engagement. For shoppers, this means access to synchronized lists, indoor navigation, and frictionless payment options intended to streamline the entire store journey.

Retailers can choose between a fully integrated scale-based model or a retrofit configuration utilizing AI camera vision. Both versions run on shopreme’s software, allowing businesses to deploy the technology across diverse formats without managing separate, disconnected data stacks. Beyond operational efficiency, the solution provides brands with retail media capabilities, enabling them to measure the impact of in-store promotions with the same level of granularity typically reserved for online advertising. The technology, which functions as part of Hanshow’s Store Digital Twin platform, is currently being demonstrated at NRF 2026 in Paris.
