“I wanted to create an apparatus to prevent thermal runaway for electric vehicles,” said an inventor from Ventress, Louisiana, regarding his latest project, THE DIAMOND. The device focuses on precise water dispersion and the delivery of cooling fluid to lithium-ion batteries, addressing a critical safety concern in modern electric vehicle architecture.
