Ericsson Continues Share Buyback Strategy with 1.85 Million Shares

Between September 7 and September 11, 2026, Ericsson repurchased 1,849,987 of its own Class B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. The transactions, executed by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, reached a total value of approximately 179.5 million SEK as part of a broader capital management program authorized earlier this year.

The recent acquisitions align with a buyback initiative of up to 15 billion SEK, which Ericsson launched on April 16, 2026. Running through March 31, 2027, the program permits the company to repurchase stock to be held as treasury shares. The Board of Directors plans to propose the cancellation of these shares at the 2027 Annual General Meeting, excluding those required to satisfy obligations under existing incentive programs.

Daily activity peaked on September 8 with the purchase of 1,000,000 shares at a weighted average price of 96.86 SEK. Following this latest round of activity, the company’s treasury holding has reached 107,518,663 Class B shares. The total share capital of the firm remains distributed across 3,371,351,735 shares, comprising both Class A and Class B issues. All operations were conducted in compliance with the European Union’s Market Abuse Regulation and the Safe Harbour framework.
