By embedding the emitter directly into the analytical column, the architecture eliminates concealed unions that typically create dead volumes and degrade chromatographic output. In validation testing on Thermo Scientific Vanquish Neo and Orbitrap Astral Zoom systems, the hardware maintained sensitivity and depth for over 10,000 unique protein identifications without significant backpressure increases.
Chief Executive Officer Xavier Perronnet noted that the industry has long treated high-performance chromatography as a specialized tool for landmark studies, but the Series 5 aims to make such precision an everyday standard. Chief Product Officer Dr. Jarrod Sandow emphasized that robustness is defined by consistent throughput despite the variable conditions of high-volume laboratory environments. Beyond mechanical longevity, the platform maintains tight reproducibility, with coefficients of variation remaining below one percent for peptide identifications across batch cycles.
