Verdafero Named Preferred Vendor for Green Key Global Program

San Jose-based Verdafero has joined the Green Key Global Vendor Program, positioning the analytics firm to provide utility tracking and sustainability reporting to North American hospitality businesses. The partnership aims to help properties translate complex consumption data into measurable environmental and financial gains.

Verdafero Named Preferred Vendor for Green Key Global Program

As a preferred vendor, Verdafero will offer Green Key Global members access to cloud-based tools for energy and water benchmarking, utility audits, and greenhouse gas emissions reporting. The collaboration addresses a critical pain point in the hospitality sector: the transition from manual spreadsheet tracking to automated, actionable intelligence. By integrating these services, hotel operators can identify waste reduction opportunities and meet rigorous corporate environmental reporting standards.

Alastair Hood, CEO and founder of Verdafero, noted that the move is designed to eliminate the logistical burden of data collection for property managers. Anick Levesque, Managing Director of Green Key Global, added that the inclusion of Verdafero supports the organization's broader mission to provide members with the tools necessary for achieving verifiable sustainability targets. Verdafero, which has operated since 2009, currently ranks among the top 75 users of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Portfolio Manager, reinforcing its technical role in the commercial property sector.
